From Goldilocks to Puss in Boots, Snow White to the Big, Bad Wolf, your favorite fairy tale characters will never be the same as you flip through the split pages and muddle everyone up! Pre-reading skills and lots of giggles are supported in equal measure in this latest addition to the series. Favorite, so far! We have a few M&M books in our personal library and I've seen the others (not the new ones, yet, but I'm excited about those!) and this one is our favorite (beat out Imagine!!). The fun of M&M is that my daughter can change up the images and """"stories"""" (and make me read each variation :-) ), but this one has the added bonus that these are characters and stories and she knows most of them, so they have added interest factor. Way to go Kane Miller, what a gem!!
Fairy Tale Fun!! Absolute favorite M & M! Colorful, lively, & adorable. Great for alliteration and writing prompts/ideas. The littles think it's really silly too and are completely engaged!!
Must have My son and I are in love with this book! The illustrations are so vibrant and colorful! We love mixing up the pages to create fun, silly stories with all of the different fairytale characters.
Love! The Muddle & Match books are great and this one is our favorite. My children love mixing the triple split pages to create their own characters and stories. Great illiteration and thick/sturdy pages, too.
Muddle stories don't always make sense I love fairy tales so chose this book over Imagine for my little girl, but regret it. It's very cute, but when you mix the fairy tales it doesn't always make sense. There are both female and male characters…so when you mix them it just doesn't work (for example, Jack or the Beast will be referred to as """"she"""").
